Megan Amos, LMHC, Therapist and Owner
Megan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. She has experience working with individuals and couples to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Special interests includes the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues and family conflict, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma counseling, stress management, self-esteem, and women’s health issues including pregnancy and infant loss and the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Megan provides therapy to teenagers and adults, employing a variety of techniques to guide you through the process of creating meaningful, sustainable change. With focus on a trusting, supportive, and engaging therapeutic relationship, Megan uses an integrative, person-centered, strengths-based and solution-focused approach. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Mindfulness. Megan has also completed training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) for the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and is continuing her education to gain expertise in this area.
Megan is a member of Postpartum Support International (PSI), the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association.

Kara Clark, LMHC, Therapist and Owner
Kara is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 4 years of experience in the mental health profession. She received her Master’s from University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2014. Since graduation, she has been working as a mental health counselor. As a therapist, she employs a holistic, all inclusive, empathetic style to therapy.
It is in Kara’s professional interest to provide the most effective therapy to her clients by integrating a use of therapy techniques to include Cognitive-Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-based, Mindfulness, and incorporating empirically supported practices.
Kara’s clinical skills are applicable to individuals of most ages including children, adolescents, and adults. She works with individuals with anxiety, depression/mood disorders, trauma and abuse history, life changes and adjustment issues, grief and loss, interpersonal conflicts, and has a special interest in couples counseling.

Candice Cox, LMHC, NCC, Therapist and Owner
Candice is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. She has experience working with individuals and families to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational issues including depression, stress-management, ADHD, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma and family system issues. Special interests include family and relationship issues, the treatment of anxiety disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder, and the care of soldiers, veterans and military families.
Candice works with adolescents, teenagers and adults using a person-centered, strengths based approach. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Art Narrative Therapy (TANT), Mindfulness Techniques, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Candice has also completed training with Dan Hughes for Attachment Focused Family Therapy and Trauma Informed Care through the Midwest Trauma Services Network (MTSN).
Candice is a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

Valerie Gill, LISW, Therapist and Owner
Valerie is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa with over 25 years of experience. Valerie works with teenagers, adults, couples, and families.
Her specializations include trauma (PTSD), sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, grief, LGBTQ, life transitions, and loss. She has extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR – level I and II), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (level I and II).
In addition to her work as an outpatient therapist, she worked as a residential therapist, a medical social worker, a victim advocate, and a college lecturer. She has a variety of experiences working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Working from a strengths-based approach, Valerie leverages her breadth of professional, academic, and life experiences to assist her clients. She utilizes evidence-based interventions and continually researches best practices. She strives to support her clients with empathy and compassion.
Valerie is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
